Job summary

Bestow, a leading AI-powered life insurance platform, seeks a Senior Product Manager, Underwriting, to lead complex initiatives across underwriting workflows and regulatory constraints. You will partner with clients, underwriters, and engineering to translate needs into durable roadmaps and measurable outcomes.

You will leverage AI-native approaches, mentor junior PMs, and drive cross-functional alignment while balancing speed and accuracy to improve financial stability for customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of product management experience in or adjacent to underwriting.
• Hands-on life insurance experience with underwriters.
• Experience with AI tools as part of product development.
• Ability to lead multiple projects and influence stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex product initiatives across underwriting, owning outcomes from problem definition through launch and adoption.
• Partner directly with clients and underwriters to shape platform capabilities and develop durable roadmaps.
• Leverage AI tools and agentic workflows as core parts of the product development process.
• Translate carrier requirements and regulatory constraints into actionable product requirements for engineering and underwriting teams.
• Develop and maintain product roadmaps aligned with company strategy and long-term vision.
• Coach and mentor junior product managers while promoting Bestow's operating principles.
