Job summary

Blue Cross Blue Shield Association in Washington, DC seeks a Product Analyst to partner with product leaders and engineering teams to drive data-informed strategy and shape roadmaps. You will translate requirements into user stories, develop dashboards, and track KPIs to provide actionable insights and guide product decisions.

You will collaborate across functions to deliver new product experiences, ensure customer needs are met, and maintain strong governance with SOC 2 and HIPAA

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, Business, or related field
• Master’s preferred

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into user stories and technical features.
• Develop dashboards, reports, and analyses (Tableau preferred) to provide stakeholders with actionable insights.
• Define and track KPIs across the product portfolio, measuring performance and adoption.
• Conduct customer behavior analysis using product analytics tools to inform roadmap decisions.
• Work directly with product managers, business leaders, and engineering teams to deliver new product experiences and enhancements.
• Collaborate with design and stakeholders to define user acceptance criteria.
• Support client-facing activities tied to product lifecycle, ensuring product features align with customer needs.
• Conduct competitive landscape and market analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Use data to identify problems worth solving and propose solutions that align with customer and business needs.
• Independently navigate ambiguity, test hypotheses, and recommend product improvements based on evidence.
• Share insights with senior product leaders to influence roadmap prioritization.
• Demonstrate adaptability and a growth mindset in learning new tools, frameworks, and approaches.
• Follow BHI’s compliance practices, including SOC 2, HIPAA, and secure data handling standards.
• Contribute to documentation and audit-readiness activities as part of product governance.
