Job summary

Eaton is hiring for a hybrid role in Power Systems Controls (PSC) to lead the development, testing, and implementation of power systems control solutions using PLCs, HMIs, and protection relays. Compensation ranges from $97,000 to $143,000 annually, with paid overtime and a company vehicle.

The role involves designing and deploying control software, coordinating with Electrical Designers, and ensuring compliance with safety and project specifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 7+ years power distribution controls experience, or Master’s with 5+ years.
• Valid driver’s license and clean MVR; background check required.
• PE License is preferred and beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy PLC/HMI software for Power Transfer applications.
• Follow customer and internal specifications for project implementation.
• Create BOM, provide sketches and direction to Electrical Designers.
• Prepare SOO, test procedures, and participate in field start-ups as required.
• Troubleshoot systems and assist with factory testing.
