Job summary

cyberThink is seeking a PMO Project Manager in Mechanicsville, VA (Hybrid). This 8–9 month contract role focuses on PMO governance, documentation, training delivery, and risk oversight for enterprise IT projects.

Responsibilities include maintaining PMO documentation, managing SharePoint Online, delivering training materials, and creating executive dashboards using Excel and Power BI. Strong governance, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 15+ years IT experience with enterprise environments.
• 10+ years in project management, PMO, governance or related work.
• Knowledge of PMO best practices and governance frameworks.
• Experience managing PMO artifacts and SharePoint repositories.
• Experience creating training materials and presentations.
• Strong risk management experience and reporting.
• Advanced MS Office, MS Project, Visio skills.
• Experience creating executive dashboards with Excel/Power BI.
• Ability to guide project managers on governance and readiness.

Responsibilities

• Maintain PMO docs, governance artifacts, and reports.
• Manage SharePoint Online libraries with governance and version control.
• Develop and deliver PMO training programs and user docs.
• Provide risk oversight including assessment and mitigation.
• Create recurring project reports and analytics with Excel/Power BI.
• Review project readiness and ensure governance compliance.
• Support PMO improvements and governance initiatives.
• Collaborate with leadership to improve delivery consistency.
