Job summary

ATC is seeking a Project Coordinator to support the State of Michigan Project Management Office, assisting with the Center for Shared Solutions Call Center Support division. The role is part of the DTMB Enterprise Portfolio Management Office and involves collaboration with Project Managers and MiECC leadership.

The position requires in-person work 2-3 days a week with remaining days remote in a fast-paced, multi-project environment; duties include scheduling, budgeting, communications, and risk

Responsibilities

• Utilize the State of Michigan’s Project Portfolio Management Tool (Clarity) to prepare project schedules, assign resources and manage budgets.
• Prepare information for presentations geared to executives, managers, and project team members.
• Accountable for monitoring, controlling, and communicating project progress by actively managing cost, schedule, scope, resources, quality, and risks.
• Provide clear, timely, and accurate communications with stakeholders, particularly sponsors, project team members, and project managers; foster collaboration between technical and business teams and gain consensus and commitment.
• Develop and maintain key SUITE Project Management Methodology (PMM) deliverables: Project Charter, Project Schedule, Project Budget, Communication Plan, Project Status Report, Risk and Issue Management Plans, Change Requests, Project Closedown Summary.
• Ensure the project adheres to the SUITE PMM and System Engineering Methodology (SEM), including transitions through lifecycle stages.
• Facilitate and enforce the Change Management process (Change Requests) when scope/schedule/budget deviate; ensure approvals before action.
• Create project Corrective Action Plans for projects in yellow or red status.
• Understand project benefits and the impact of change requests on benefits business cases; ensure related artifacts are updated.
• Prior experience with Call Center Technologies and Call Center Support is preferred.
