Job summary

The Boston Home is looking for a Philan thropy & Communications Coordinator to support donor relations and volunteer engagement. This on-site role with optional 1-2 remote days per week will handle data entry, donor acknowledgments, social media, website content, and event support.

Ideal candidates are detail-oriented with strong communication skills. Beyond fundraising duties, you will help coordinate volunteer onboarding and coordinate with various TBH departments to advance the mission.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with social media platforms and donor databases.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage gift data entry and donor acknowledgement letters.
• Lead volunteer outreach, onboarding, and placement within TBH departments.
• Assist with social media content development and updates.
• Support website and e-newsletter content and updates.
• Assist with direct mail appeals and other donor communications.
• Support departmental events and initiatives as needed.
