Job summary

DISTYL is seeking a hands-on Recruiting Coordinator & People Operations generalist in San Francisco. This hybrid role splits about 50/50 between recruiting coordination and People Operations, owning interview logistics, onboarding, and core HR administration.

You'll partner with recruiters, hiring managers, and the People team, and leverage AI tools to streamline scheduling, candidate experience, onboarding, benefits questions, and HR data upkeep in Ashby and HRIS systems.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in Recruiting Coordination or People Operations.
• Experience in a startup or tech company is preferred.
• Nice to have: Ashby or a similar ATS and Rippling or similar HRIS.
• Ability to apply AI tools to streamline processes and improve onboarding and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Own interview logistics and candidate experience; coordinate across multiple searches.
• Manage onboarding, benefits coordination, and core HR administration.
• Partner with recruiters, hiring managers, and the People team.
• Maintain candidate data and pipeline hygiene in Ashby.
• Identify AI-driven process improvements for scheduling and reporting.
