Job summary

UnitedMasters is seeking a People Operations Generalist to own daily employee support, HR systems, and lifecycle operations across UnitedMasters, Translation, and Shared Services. The role focuses on implementing AI and automation to improve processes while upholding confidentiality.

The position is based in Brooklyn, NY, with four days in the office and one remote. You’ll manage onboarding, changes, offboarding, data integrity, and cross-functional projects to enhance the employee experience.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of progressive HR or People Operations experience, including independently managing employee support and core employee lifecycle processes.
• Experience administering an HRIS or People tools, maintaining accurate employee data, and improving operational workflows.
• Experience supporting People programs or HR projects, with demonstrated judgment in handling confidential and sensitive matters.
• Strong understanding of HR operations, employee lifecycle processes, and the connection between systems, data, and employee experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for day-to-day People questions and explain policies.
• Own onboarding, employee changes, and offboarding, coordinating orientation and documentation.
• Own day-to-day HRIS and People tool administration, including configuration and data audits.
• Identify and implement practical uses of approved AI tools and automation across People operations.
• Coordinate visa sponsorships, renewals, and related documentation with employees and counsel.
• Partner on separation logistics and timely handoffs to IT, Facilities, and Payroll.
• Maintain process guides, employee resources, and routine reports.
