Qualifications

• 1+ years of hands-on payroll experience.
• Experience administering electronic timekeeping systems.
• Proficiency entering and managing data in payroll databases.
• Ability to reconcile payroll before transmission and validate reports.
• Experience processing weekly payroll for multiple entities.
• Knowledge of federal/state/local payroll taxes, 401(k) transfers, garnishments.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain the timekeeping system for accurate hours capture.
• Enter and update payroll data in databases and software.
• Reconcile payroll prior to transmission and validate reports.
• Process weekly payroll for multiple companies and ensure timeliness.
• Generate and review payroll reports for accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare and post payroll-related journal entries.
