Job summary

European Wax Center is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join our corporate office team. You will process, reconcile and record payroll and related expenses, working closely with HR and Accounting to ensure accuracy and compliance.

You will use ADP Workforce Now to review time, benefits, deductions, 401(k) contributions, and payroll tax reporting, while maintaining strict confidentiality and delivering timely payroll support to managers and employees.

Qualifications

• Payroll processing experience.
• Knowledge of federal and multi-state payroll tax.
• Experience with ADP Workforce Now.
• Collaborative and able to work with diverse teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and shifting priorities.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly and bi-weekly payrolls using ADP.
• Review payroll information for accuracy across wages, deductions and benefits.
• Validate time, PTO, bonuses, commissions and other earnings.
• Process changes: hires, terminations, corrections, and manual checks.
• Research payroll discrepancies and resolve issues.
• Prepare payroll journal entries for NetSuite.
• Reconcile 401(k) deductions and company match.
• Assist with payroll tax reporting.
• Maintain payroll documentation and respond to inquiries.
• Support process improvements and internal controls.
