The payroll specialist role supports a growing operations team and ensures accurate, timely payroll across multiple states. The position offers a hybrid work schedule in Bellevue, WA, with two days in the office and three days remote.

Qualifications

• Experience in payroll processing and benefits administration.
• Familiarity with payroll taxes, garnishments, and multi-state compliance.
• Strong data entry accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and processes semi-monthly payroll using Rippling.
• Collects and reviews timesheets; submits for processing.
• Calculates employer liabilities and distributes related reports.
• Processes ACH payments for employer liabilities.
• Maintains payroll records in accounting software.
• Ensures compliance with wage and hour laws.
• Generates quarterly/year-end forms (941s/940s/W2s) via Rippling.
• Onboards new hires and updates employee pay/taxes/deposits.
• Responds to payroll inquiries and resolves policy questions.
• Monitors HR inbox and routes requests for resolution.
