Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with payroll systems and related software
• 3+ years of experience in US payroll taxes
• College degree or CPP/FPC certification
• Familiarity with Workday, ADP Smart Compliance, ADP Payment Solutions or other HRIS/payroll systems
• Knowledge of government regulations as they apply to payroll
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Excel
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Analyses, prepares and inputs payroll data to produce accurate, timely payroll and ensures compliance with wage and hour laws
• Review, audit, and upload payroll taxes from Workday to ADP for processing
• Maintain knowledge of wage and hour regulations and SOX compliance
• Facilitate understanding of payroll procedures across the organization
• Assist managers with resolving payroll discrepancies
• Calculate hours from time entry systems as applicable
• Support HR/Payroll transformation projects and initiatives
• Evaluate payroll systems, policies and processes; recommend automation opportunities
• Assist with post-payroll reporting and reconciliation
• Maintain confidentiality at all times
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
• Stay current on industry trends via training and workshops
• Perform other duties as assigned
