Job summary

SAFEbuilt in Loveland, CO, is seeking a Payroll Administrator to manage bi-weekly payroll for company pay groups in a hybrid role. The position uses Ultimate Software and collaborates with the Payroll Team of four under the Payroll Director.

Responsibilities include ensuring accuracy of payroll data, processing travel reimbursements, maintaining confidential information, and supporting audits. A 1–3 year background in payroll and a degree in accounting/finance are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required in Accounting or Finance.
• 1-3 years of relevant professional work experience.
• FPP or CPP credentials a plus.
• Well-organized with ability to prioritize.
• High level of precision and diligent in managing details.
• Familiarity with UKG Pro and Sage Intacct systems a plus.
• Familiarity with HRIS systems (multiple platforms a plus).
• Computer proficiency within a Microsoft Office environment required.

Responsibilities

• Review payroll records for accuracy with HR updates.
• Maintain payroll information by collecting, calculating, and entering data.
• Process bi-weekly payroll in Ultimate Software for company pay groups.
• Prepare employee travel & expense reimbursements for payroll.
• Collect and upload timekeeping information and verify data accuracy.
• Process garnishments and termination/payroll adjustments.
• Assist with annual audits and payroll process improvements.
• Maintain confidentiality and payroll integrity.
