Job summary

E2 Consulting Engineers, LP is seeking a Payroll Administrator in Denver to manage multi-company, multi-state payroll with a focus on union payroll administration. The role ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations while maintaining payroll records and resolving issues.

Responsibilities include processing weekly/bi-weekly payroll, calculating wages and bonuses, and preparing reports. Requires 5+ years of payroll experience, union payroll expertise, and proficiency with

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
• 5+ years of payroll administration experience.
• Union payroll experience required.
• Experience with multi-state payroll and payroll taxes, especially California.
• Experience with ADP or similar payroll systems (Gusto, Paylocity, etc.).
• Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables and XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll accurately and on schedule.
• Calculate wages, overtime, bonuses, retroactive payments, and salary adjustments.
• Administer union payroll according to CBAs and pay/wage rates.
• Maintain accurate payroll records and earnings histories.
• Generate payroll reports and analysis.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws.
