Job summary

CHI Health Clinic seeks a Patient Service Rep PCC to be the first point of contact for patients, delivering compassionate care and clear information that improves access to services. The role emphasizes patient experience, accuracy, and efficiency across calls, emails, and other channels.

You will schedule and register appointments across providers, update demographics and insurance data, and navigate our appointment management and EHR systems, while maintaining professionalism under pressure

Qualifications

• Local to the Omaha area on hire.
• High School GED or equivalent and experience with computer systems, including web-based applications.

Responsibilities

• Handle a high volume of calls and emails to schedule and register patient appointments for multiple providers.
• Provide information about services, addresses, and departments, and assist with insurance and demographics updates.
• Navigate appointment management and electronic health record (EHR) systems to deliver a caring patient experience.
• Exercise active listening and problem-solving to resolve inquiries and escalate complex issues.
• Maintain calm, professional communication in a fast-paced environment.
