Mercy is seeking a Patient Service Agent for the Primary Care Call Center in Watson. This full-time role offers a hybrid schedule with work-from-home 2–3 days per week after training, handling high-volume calls and patient inquiries with empathy and HIPAA compliance.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, customer service experience, basic computer skills, and can type 60 wpm while maintaining a professional, compassionate attitude.

Responsibilities

• Handle high-volume inbound and outbound calls, assisting patients with MyMercy scheduling and general inquiries.
• Identify patient needs, provide accurate information, resolve issues, escalate when necessary.
• Document call details in the EMR according to procedures.
• Deliver compassionate, high-quality service following scripts and HIPAA guidelines.
• Build positive patient relationships and contribute to team performance.
• Support organizational mission and complete additional duties as assigned.
