Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Patient Service Agent for a hybrid remote role in its Primary Care Call Center. The position is full-time, MON-FRI, 8am-5pm, with an initial 90 days onsite training in Oklahoma City, OK, after which hybrid work may be available.

Candidates must reside within commuting distance to OKC. Responsibilities include scheduling appointments, handling patient messages, and providing information with a professional, courteous manner.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of customer service experience in healthcare preferred.
• Basic computer skills and data entry ability.
• Professional, courteous, and compassionate attitude; ability to multi-task; 60 wpm typing.

Responsibilities

• Schedule patient appointments and take patient messages.
• Provide general information about visit instructions and expectations.
• Maintain a calm, pleasant, and professional demeanor; deliver excellent customer service with strong telephone etiquette.
