The job involves patent-related document preparation, docketing, and filings with USPTO, under supervision, with a focus on accuracy and timeliness. The candidate should have 2-3 years of patent prosecution experience in a law firm setting and a bachelor’s degree preferred.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of patent prosecution experience in a law firm environment.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Ability to manage multiple patent-related tasks with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Generate reports from firm and external patent databases as requested.
• Prepare and organize materials for USPTO Information Disclosure Statements.
• Prepare and send documents including assignments and declarations to inventors.
• Prepare and file US National Stage (371) applications with the USPTO.
• Monitor upcoming patent deadlines and generate related materials.
• Draft, revise and finalize patent documents and filings.
• Proofread and suggest edits on patent documents.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
