Job summary

Xcel Energy in Amarillo, TX is seeking an Operations Work Coordinator to plan daily work and coordinate crews to keep projects on track while prioritizing safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. You will generate work orders, review completed work packets, and ensure data integrity across systems.

Strong Excel skills and experience with work management tools are preferred to optimize resource use and productivity.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• 3+ years related experience in construction, design, maintenance or operations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel or other spreadsheet tools.
• Knowledge of and ability to use a wide range of computer software including work management, mapping and scheduling tools.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a daily work plan and crew roster; adjust schedules as needed.
• Generate work orders and complete job closeout; review reports for accuracy.
• Coordinate with utilities and schedule equipment for daily operations; provide backup to other roles.
• Maintain data integrity across systems and reconcile discrepancies in labor and materials.
