Xcel Energy in Minnesota is hiring an Operations Work Coordinator to plan daily work, allocate crews, and manage work orders with a focus on safety and efficiency.

You’ll use SAP, GIS, and other tools to coordinate materials, schedules, and reporting while partnering with supervisors to optimize resources and meet customer needs. The role supports a hybrid model with some on-site work required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Minimum three years related experience in construction, design, maintenance or operations (utility experience preferred).
• Good understanding of work functions including work orders, payroll, invoicing, materials, safety.
• Proficiency with Excel or other spreadsheet tools.
• Ability to retrieve and manipulate data from reporting tools.
• Familiarity with Microsoft work management, mapping and scheduling tools.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a daily work plan and crew roster.
• Adjust schedules daily and assign crews for priorities.
• Generate work orders and close out packets.
• Analyze exception reports for labor and equipment charges.
• Coordinate materials, locates, and equipment for daily operations.
• Maintain data integrity across scheduling systems.
• Reconcile packets to match work completed and costs.
• Collaborate with supervisors and stakeholders to maximize productivity.
