Job summary

Xcel Energy is seeking an Operations Work Coordinator to plan and coordinate daily work activities, manage crew rosters, and generate work orders. The role focuses on safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance while coordinating with supervisors and other utilities as needed.

The position requires a high school education, 3+ years of relevant experience, and strong Excel/data skills. A hybrid work model is offered with onsite collaboration and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum three years related experience in construction, design, maintenance or operations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel or other spreadsheet tools; strong data manipulation skills.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a daily work plan and daily crew roster.
• Adjust planned schedules and assign crews based on resources and progress.
• Generate work orders and complete job closeout of all work packets in various systems.
• Maintain data integrity and reconcile packets to ensure accurate labor, materials and charges.
• Collaborate with supervisors and stakeholder groups to maximize productivity and efficiency.
