Job summary

Segra is seeking a qualified Network Sustainment Engineer II for a full-time role in Kansas City. The position provides in-depth support for Transport, Packet, and Management Networks and OSS functions, with design, testing, and implementation responsibilities.

The role requires 4–6 years in OSS/network operations, strong MPLS/BGP/Segment Routing experience, and relevant certifications. It is a hybrid work arrangement with three days in the office and two remote days each week.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years deploying and managing OSS systems, network operations, or engineering environment.
• Experience in MPLS, BGP, Segment Routing, Layer 2 and Layer 3.
• College degree in Engineering or CS and 4–6 years professional experience.
• Certifications such as CCIE/CCNP/CCNA etc preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-depth support of Transport, Packet, and Management Networks and OSS functions.
• Design, test, and implement network components, equipment, and software.
• Perform administrative work relating to projects and assignments.
