Job summary

KSAT USA is seeking an experienced Network Systems Engineer II to maintain and expand our Denver-based networks for engineering, admin and operations. You will work on global network deployments, cybersecurity, and interconnecting ground equipment with our international teams.

The role requires strong OSI, LAN/WAN, VPN/SD-WAN expertise and hands-on configuration of routers, switches and firewalls. Telework options exist with relocation support for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree or equivalent in engineering or technical discipline.
• 5+ years of network design and management engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of OSI model, LAN/WAN, routers, switches, VLANs and subnets.
• Experience with VPN, SD-WAN, Cisco Secure FMC and advanced routing.
• Hands-on with Linux/Windows administration, routers, switches and firewalls from multiple vendors.
• Experience with secure systems via jump-hosts and DoD/CUI protection requirements.
• Preferred: Python, Ansible, AWX, GitLab, Netbox, Visio/draw.io for documentation.
• Strong familiarity with satellite ground systems design and remote site installation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and expand the Denver office network infrastructure for US/intl users.
• Implement and monitor cybersecurity measures to protect networks.
• Assist engineering teams to interconnect ground equipment and provide global customer support.
• Collaborate with international network team to meet KSAT standards and evolving threats.
