Job summary

CCMSI is seeking a Multi-Line Claim Consultant in Reading, MA, with hybrid work options. The role manages the full lifecycle of multi-line claims, requiring 5+ years of experience and a preferred Bachelor’s Degree. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and licensure may be required by jurisdiction.

Qualifications

• 5+ years multi-line claim experience required.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Adjusters license may be required depending on jurisdiction.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office programs.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, evaluate and adjust multi-line claims.
• Establish reserves and/or provide reserve recommendations within authority levels.
• Review, approve or oversee medical, legal, damage estimates and invoices; negotiate disputed bills.
• Authorize and make payments of multi-line claims per CCMSI procedures.
• Negotiate settlements within standards, client instructions and state laws.
• Coordinate and supervise outside vendors (e.g. legal, surveillance, case management).
• Assess and monitor subrogation claims for resolution.
• Prepare reports detailing claim status, payments and reserves.
• Effective communication with clients, claimants and parties throughout the process.
• Attend hearings, mediations, and conferences as appropriate.
