Georgia’s Own Credit Union is seeking a proactive Member Services Representative to handle member inquiries by telephone, process transactions, and offer product and service guidance with a focus on accuracy and courtesy.

The role covers savings, checking, loans, Online Banking, VISA, and card services, in a flexible hybrid environment that balances in-office collaboration with remote work.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication skills for telephone member contact.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Proficient use of PC and technology required for job function.
• Ability to take direction and follow through on assigned tasks.
• Excellent organizational skills and teamwork ability.
• Ability to handle member interactions professionally.

Responsibilities

• Provide phone service for savings accounts: explain information, open accounts, and assist with statements.
• Provide phone service for checking accounts: open accounts, transfers, and check ordering.
• Provide phone service regarding loans: explain APR, schedules, and loan process.
• Provide phone service for Savings Certificates and IRA accounts: discuss types and activity.
• Provide phone service regarding VISA: info, applications, and review process.
• Support Online Banking, Bill Pay, A2A and P2P: enrollment, troubleshooting, and password resets.
• Support ATM/Debit Cards: verify transactions, replace cards, and PIN issues; manage fraud and card restrictions.
