Qualifikationen

• High School diploma required.
• 4-year degree in culinary arts, business, marketing, agriculture/animal science or related studies preferred.
• 2 years of food service sales experience preferred.
• Meat & Seafood sales experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Establish, develop and maintain business relationships with current and prospective customers in the territory to generate new business for the Sysco Specialty Meat Group products and services.
• Make in-person visits and presentations to existing and prospective customers.
• Take customer orders with SSMG goals in mind: sales and GP/Stop maximization.
• Coordinate input of orders with inside sales partners.
• Respond promptly to customer problems and needs.
• Review out-of-stocks, shortages and transportation issues; implement solutions quickly.
• Analyze daily/weekly sales and margin reports for improvement opportunities.
• Stay informed on product applications, market conditions and competitor activities.
• Develop relationships with accounts payable contacts and coordinate with AR managers.
• Enforce early payment and COD terms as appropriate.
• Update bid files and customer profiles to ensure pricing accuracy.
