Job summary

Sysco is seeking a dynamic sales professional to drive Greco The Cheese Man’s sales in the assigned territory. You will build relationships, present products in person, and secure orders while maximizing profitability.

You will monitor stock, work with inside sales, and analyze sales data to identify improvement opportunities. The role requires strong customer service, time management, and product knowledge within a food-service context.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of meat/seafood or culinary background with ability to apply new knowledge.
• Proven consultative sales skills.
• Strong time management and accountability without constant supervision.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with current and prospective customers in the assigned territory to generate new business.
• Make in-person visits and presentations to customers.
• Take orders aligned with Greco's sales and margin goals.
• Coordinate order input with inside sales partners.
• Respond quickly to customer problems and needs.
• Monitor stock and transport issues and implement quick solutions.
• Analyze sales and margin data for improvement opportunities.
• Stay informed about product applications, market conditions and competitive activity.
• Engage in Greco training and customer events; participate in sales meetings.
