Lifelong Learning Administration Corporation in the United States is seeking a People Services Coordinator - Leave of Absence to coordinate and manage employee LOA cases with focus on FMLA, CFRA, and related laws. You will work with Payroll and a third-party administrator to ensure compliant processing and accurate return-to-work steps.

The role requires strong analytical and communication skills, detailed documentation, and the ability to manage multiple leave cases in a fast-paced environment

Competenze

• High School diploma; Associate degree preferred.
• 3-4 years of experience handling FMLA/CFRA leave in a high-volume setting.
• Specialized certification or training in leave administration required.
• In-depth knowledge of federal, state and local leave laws including FMLA/CFRA/ADA.

Mansioni

• Coordinate intermittent or continuous LOA requests with third party administrator.
• Review confidential documentation for compliance with policies and laws.
• Confirm eligibility and notify affected parties of leave events.
• Collect documentation to verify eligibility and duration of leave.
• Ensure documentation adheres to federal timelines and processes.
• Coordinate return-to-work processes and status updates with managers.
• Utilize leave management software to track cases and communications.
• Collaborate with Payroll and third-party administrator for processing.
• Deliver training to managers on policies and legal requirements.
• Apply metrics to evaluate LOA practices and suggest improvements.
