Job summary

The Reliance is seeking an LOA Administrator in the Los Angeles area to support leave of absence management from intake through closure. You will ensure compliance with FMLA, CFRA, USERRA and related policies while coordinating with LPOCs and management.

You will review medical certifications, advise on eligibility, and assist with return-to-work arrangements and accommodations. Strong communication and confidentiality are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field preferred.
• HR certifications (PHR/SHRM-CP) preferred.
• Minimum of four years’ experience managing leaves of absence.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide LOA support from intake to closure for assigned clients.
• Review updated medical certifications to determine eligibility.
• Serve as primary contact for employees, management and LPOCs.
• Ensure proper integration of leaves with workers’ compensation, FMLA, CFRA, and ADA.
• Counsel employees on pay, benefits, rights, and responsibilities.
• Review return-to-work documentation and coordinate accommodations if needed.
• Maintain accurate leave records for compliance.
• Stay updated on leave laws and regulatory changes.
• Hybrid: minimum three days in office per week.
