Job summary

Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt is seeking a full-time Docketing Specialist in our Portland, OR office. The role focuses on calendaring across practices, primarily litigation docketing, with a hybrid work policy allowing home work on Mondays and Fridays and in-office Tue–Thu.

You will enter events, verify information, apply court rules, and generate docket reports while maintaining records and providing excellent service under deadlines.

Qualifications

• Experience in legal services environment, preferably litigation docketing.
• Two years of college or equivalent education/experience.
• Knowledge of CompuLaw or other docketing software is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Clear and professional communication with attorneys and staff.
• Familiarity with state and federal court rules across jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

• Enter dated events into the docketing software (CompuLaw).
• Update or remove outdated docketed events as needed.
• Review and verify information before input into docketing software.
• Apply court rules to analyze documents and docket requests for calendaring.
• Provide docket reports on a schedule and as needed.
• Maintain records in the document management system.
