Job summary

Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt is seeking a full-time Docketing Specialist for our Portland, OR office. The role focuses on calendaring across litigation practice areas, requiring reliable, detail-oriented service under tight deadlines.

The position offers hybrid work with in-office onboarding for the first month. Responsibilities include entering events in CompuLaw, maintaining docket accuracy, and producing routine docket reports for attorneys and staff.

Qualifications

• Two years of legal services experience, preferably in litigation docketing.
• Two years of college or equivalent education.
• Familiarity with CompuLaw or similar docketing software a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and data entry.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Clear, professional communication with attorneys and staff.

Responsibilities

• Enter dated events into the firm's docketing software (CompuLaw).
• Update and/or remove outdated docketed events as necessary.
• Review and verify information prior to input into docketing software.
• Apply knowledge of court rules to analyze court documents and docket requests for calendaring.
• Provide docket reports on a scheduled and as-needed basis.
• Maintain record of work performed in the firm’s document management system.
