Progressive Life Center is seeking a Recruitment Training and Licensing Specialist to lead recruitment, licensing, and monitoring of foster homes across the DMV region. The role focuses on home studies, regulatory compliance, and continuous staff development within a supportive, mission-driven environment.

You will manage licensing processes, execute community outreach, and collaborate with leadership to align placement decisions with program capacity.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• LBSW or LMSW licensure required.
• Two years of experience in child welfare, foster care, adoption, mental health, or related field.
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
• Must obtain SAFE-C certification within three months of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Manage assigned treatment foster homes and parents as primary point of contact across recruitment, licensing, placement, support, renewal and closure.
• Conduct comprehensive home studies and licensing assessments with interviews, documentation review and background checks.
• Ensure licensing and regulatory compliance and keep audit-ready records with timely reviews.
• Perform quarterly monitoring and home visits to assess safety, caregiver functioning and placement needs.
• Develop and implement foster-parent recruitment strategies based on placement needs and program growth.
• Coordinate foster-parent training and monitor training compliance and records.
