Eversource Energy is seeking a Lead Engineer to oversee the development, expansion, planning, design, maintenance and operation of the transmission and distribution system. You will supervise engineers, coordinate life cycle plans, and ensure high-quality design and permits while supporting emergency operations.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Engineering and 8–10 years in the electrical utility field, with preferred supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required.
• 8–10 years in technical/engineering aspects of electrical utility industry.
• Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Supervises, coaches, and develops engineers; directs work for 2+ engineers.
• Supports life cycle planning of transmission/distribution system.
• Coordinates design, operation, and maintenance standards and procedures.
• Provides technical support during normal and emergency operations.
• Participates in storm duty and major events as needed.
