Talantir in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Network Engineer to support LAN and Wi‑Fi monitoring and operations. You will work independently or with limited supervision, handling Tier 2 LAN issues and collaborating with Tier 3 engineers for complex problems.

The role is onsite with hybrid flexibility, requiring 4 days in the office. Schedule is Mon-Fri 8am–6pm ET with on-call rotation and occasional after-hours work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent IT experience.
• Minimum 3 years of network experience.
• Proficiency in LAN protocols and technologies (TCP/IP, VLANs, Spanning Tree).
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills (Layer 1/2).
• Familiarity with LAN security standards and methodologies.

Responsabilités

• Troubleshoot and resolve LAN and Wi‑Fi connectivity issues (switches, routers, cabling).
• Document troubleshooting steps and solutions in ServiceNow for future reference.
• Assist Tier 1 support in diagnosing LAN issues; provide Tier 2 escalation support.
• Collaborate with Tier 3 LAN engineers for complex resolutions.
• Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
