Job summary

PlanIT Group, LLC in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Telecommunications Specialist to provide technical support for WAN, LAN, VPN, wiring, and wireless environments. This onsite role offers hybrid work with 2 days in the office weekly, with potential future changes; first shift Mon-Fri with on-call rotation.

You will analyze data, produce management reports, coordinate circuit installations, manage ServiceNow tickets, and collaborate with vendors to keep networks running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree and minimum 3 years IT/network experience, or 5+ years equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of network experience with SD-WAN and data circuits.
• Experience with ServiceNow and MS Office (Excel/Teams).
• Strong communication and project coordination skills; able to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Administer network service requests using Telecom Expense Management software.
• Schedule and coordinate network service installations per project specs.
• Track tasks in Excel and report progress to management.
• Follow ServiceNow tickets through closure; drive outages reports and vendor communications.
• Coordinate upgrades, circuit lifecycles, and related tasks.
• Process service orders and activate service using provisioning tools.
