Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Network Engineer to support a client in Eagan, MN. This on-site position offers hybrid work with 4 days in the office and a schedule of 8:00 am to 6:00 pm ET, with occasional on-call rotation. The role requires independent work with minimal guidance.

You will troubleshoot LAN and Wi‑Fi issues, manage ServiceNow tickets, and collaborate with Tier 3 LAN Engineers while ensuring network reliability and security in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 3+ years IT/network experience.
• Minimum 3 years of network experience and support.
• Proficiency in LAN protocols (TCP/IP, VLANs, Spanning Tree).
• Experience with Cisco Meraki, HPE Aruba, Juniper Mist, Fortinet.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot LAN and Wi-Fi connectivity issues.
• Resolve tickets in ServiceNow.
• Document troubleshooting steps and solutions for future reference.
• Provide Tier 2 support for LAN-related incidents and service requests.
