Job summary

Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota is seeking a Learning and Development Specialist to design digital and instructor-led learning solutions, administer the Pathways LMS, and own New Hire Orientation.

You will collaborate with HR and subject-matter experts to deliver enterprise-wide training, analyze learning data, and continuously improve programs in a fast-paced environment. A strong background in instructional design and tech fluency is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Learning Experience Design, Educational Technology, Adult Learning, Training and Development, or a closely related field and 2+ years of relevant professional experience; or CPTD/APTD with 4+ years of progressively responsible learning experience.
• Demonstrated experience designing digital and instructor-led learning materials using such tools as PowerPoint or Articulate 360.

Responsibilities

• The ideal candidate will have 2–3 years of corporate learning and development experience.
• Emphasis on instructional design and LMS administration and governance.
• Serve as the primary enterprise administrator for Pathways, design digital and instructor-led learning solutions.
• Own New Hire Orientation from end to end, and support other organization-wide L&D programs and systems.
• We are looking for someone driven, self-motivated, technically confident, and able to work independently.
