Job summary

Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) is seeking an IT Trainer/Content Developer to deliver on-site and online IT training across Georgia districts, and to develop training materials for GDOT applications.

You will publish schedules in the GDOT LMS, enroll learners, assess performance, and collaborate with business units to expand class enrollments while producing multimedia content using Word, PowerPoint, Camtasia, Captivate, and Storyline.

Qualifications

• Develop and deliver IT training across Georgia districts for GDOT IT applications.
• Create and update training content using Microsoft Word/PowerPoint and multimedia tools.
• Publish course offerings in the GDOT LMS and manage learner enrollments and assessments.
• Collaborate with GDOT business units to expand class enrollments and address needs.
• Provide engaging, classroom-based and virtual training using Teams.

Responsibilities

• Delivers IT training to GDOT staff on GDOT IT applications and COTS products.
• Publishes training schedules and course offerings within the GDOT LMS; administers enrollments and testing.
• Develops and maintains training content: trainer guides, user manuals, storyboards, videos.
• Coordinates with stakeholders to align with business needs and travel to districts as needed.
• Conducts virtual and on-site trainings; maintains LMS records and collects feedback surveys.
