Job summary

Fairfax County Government seeks an Enterprise IT Technician to join the Customer Experience Division, delivering exceptional technology support County-wide. The role involves hands-on technical work across mobility, desktops, and enterprise devices, with primary focus on Mobility Services and opportunities to support other teams as priorities evolve.

You will be based primarily onsite with a hybrid schedule and must be able to perform in-person tasks essential to daily operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 4 years of relevant IT experience, or IT coursework from an accredited school.
• Experience providing technical support in a Microsoft enterprise environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide cross-functional IT support across Mobility Services and other Customer Experience teams.
• Deliver hands-on technical support onsite with regular in-person attendance.
• Assist with enterprise IT hardware/software lifecycle and asset management.
