Job summary

Improve Group is seeking an IT Systems & Security Support Specialist I to join our TechOps team in Albuquerque, NM with a hybrid work schedule after onboarding.

You will provide Tier I/II end-user support, administer Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, and security operations, and assist with security investigations and documentation. This role offers growth into cybersecurity, cloud administration, and automation.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in IT support or related role.
• Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills.
• Experience supporting Windows 11 and Microsoft 365.
• Basic understanding of Entra ID, endpoint management, networking, and cloud technologies.
• Curiosity and willingness to learn new technologies.
• Ability to follow structured testing procedures and document findings.
• Strong organization, communication, and attention to detail.
• Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• U.S. citizen authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier I and Tier II support for hardware, software, Microsoft 365, and business applications via our ticketing system.
• Troubleshoot desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, conference room technology, and peripherals.
• Install, configure, and deploy new computers and technology equipment.
• Support employee onboarding and offboarding.
• Maintain accurate documentation of support requests and recurring issues.
• Assist with administration of Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, and Exchange Online.
• Deploy applications, device configurations, and security policies through Intune and Entra.
• Manage user accounts, licensing, security groups, and permissions.
• Monitor endpoint compliance, health, and inventory; support lifecycle management.
• Assist with email security, phishing investigations; monitor alerts.
• Support CMMC compliance documentation and evidence collection.
• Support testing, UAT, and documentation for new software/hardware rollouts.
