Job summary

Transforming Age seeks an IT Systems Administrator to support residents and staff in the Bellevue/Seattle area. The role covers application support, network troubleshooting, system upgrades, device deployments, and security practices, reporting to Corporate IT while working independently.

The candidate should have 3+ years of IT experience, experience with Windows and Mac OS, and proficiency with Microsoft 365 and Office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s in Information Systems preferred.
• 3+ years of professional IT experience.
• Experience with Windows and Mac OS environments.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 / Office suite.
• Strong business-technology understanding and communication skills.
• Ability to interface with employees in a team-oriented environment and work independently.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with discretion in handling confidential information.
• Experience with computer networking.
• Local travel within WA; valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Responds to technical assistance requests in person, by phone, and electronically.
• Diagnoses and resolves network connectivity issues affecting residents and staff.
• Supports IT projects, system upgrades, deployment of devices, migrations, and documentation.
• Researches questions using available resources and redirects when appropriate.
• Keeps standard help desk logs and prepares activity reports.
• Escalates urgent issues as needed and communicates progress, risks, and support needs.
• Maintains current system information, changes, and updates; provides after-hours coverage when needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
