Job summary

Vibrant is seeking a Systems Administrator I to join our Enterprise IT team in a Hybrid role. You will help maintain our IT infrastructure, perform routine maintenance, install and configure servers and network equipment, and support end users in a dynamic environment.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in IT, strong Windows skills, basic Linux, and familiarity with AWS/Azure and Microsoft 365. This role requires collaboration with helpdesk and senior staff, documentation, and adherence to

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
Certifications accepted in lieu of degree (e.g., CompTIA A+/Network+/Microsoft certs).

Responsibilities

Monitor server and network performance for efficient operation.
Perform routine maintenance, updates, and patches in hybrid environments (on-premise, AWS, Azure).
Assist in installing and configuring servers, computers, and network equipment.
Support the setup of new user accounts, permissions, and access rights.
Help maintain and monitor backup solutions and assist data recovery when needed.
Implement and follow basic security protocols, including antivirus management and password policies.
Maintain accurate documentation for configurations, guides, and troubleshooting procedures.
Collaborate with helpdesk and senior admins to resolve issues and assist with larger projects.
