Job summary

Fresno EOC is seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide responsive technology support to staff across multiple sites, including remote and hybrid environments. You will troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and security issues, ensuring reliable operations and secure access.

The role requires travel among Fresno EOC facilities and partnering sites, with strong customer service skills. Responsibilities include deploying hardware, managing tickets, and supporting cloud and collaboration

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Trade or AS in Computer Science/IT or an equivalent mix of training/experience in network administration.
• Working knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, collaboration tools, and cybersecurity practices.

Responsibilities

• Travel between Fresno EOC facilities and work sites to install, maintain, and support technology.
• Respond to staff requests via phone, email, or in person with timely, courteous service.
• Install and support desktops, laptops, tablets, mobile devices, printers, and related software/hardware.
• Create, update, and track service requests using the IT service management system; escalate where needed.
• Assist with network/infrastructure components, VPN, and cloud-connected systems.
• Support telecommunications and collaboration systems (phone, video conferencing, messaging).
• Prepare incident, asset, inventory, and performance reports as requested.
• Coordinate with vendors for repairs, quotes, and warranty support.
