Job summary

Sierra, based in New York, is seeking an IT Support Specialist to own day-to-day IT for our New York office. You will be the first point of contact for teammates, ensuring hardware, conference rooms, and the office network run smoothly, and you will collaborate with Facilities on office moves and build-outs.

You’ll work in a fast-paced startup environment, supporting macOS, Okta, Google Workspace, and in-house apps, triaging requests in a global queue, and using data-driven methods to improve IT

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of hands-on IT support or systems administration, with strong macOS experience.
• Proficiency with endpoint management and MDM (Jamf), identity tooling (Okta), and Mac troubleshooting.
• Experience with SaaS administration (Okta, Google Workspace) and cross-office support.
• Strong communication, ability to work with engineers, and structured troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first line of defense for employee IT issues in New York, with focus on macOS troubleshooting, application support, and network connectivity.
