Job summary

AbelsonTaylor Group in Chicago is seeking an Associate Service Desk Specialist to support employees with computer issues, triage, and troubleshooting. You’ll manage Windows and macOS builds, Office 365, and AD/SaaS accounts, with remote and onsite assistance as needed.

The role requires an associate's degree in information systems or related experience, and at least 1 year in IT. CompTIA A+ and Microsoft certifications are a plus; the position follows a hybrid schedule onsite Tuesday–Thursday.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in information systems or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 1 year working in an IT department for a small-medium sized company.
• Entry Level knowledge: Active Directory User Administration and Group Policy, Office 365, OneDrive, VPN.

Responsibilities

• Image Mac and Windows laptops for new hires and upgrades.
• Document inventory using FreshService Asset Management and prepare items for disposal.
• Troubleshoot Windows 10 OS, hardware/software, and peripherals.
• Troubleshoot macOS, hardware/software, and peripherals.
• Configure Active Directory and SaaS accounts for new hires and deletions.
• Provide onsite and remote end-user support by phone, email, or in person.
• Close and update tickets with status information and meet deadlines.
