Job summary

AbelsonTaylor Group is seeking an Associate Service Desk Specialist in Chicago to support Windows and macOS environments, images, and Active Directory accounts. The role combines on-site and remote work, assisting employees with IT issues and maintaining ticket queues.

Ideal candidates will have 1 year in IT, familiarity with Office 365, SCCM/JAMF, and a willingness to learn new technologies in a collaborative environment. Competitive benefits and growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication, organizational skills, and the ability to work with people at all levels.
• Pursuing an associate’s degree in information systems or equivalent experience is preferred.
• Minimum 1 year in an IT department for a small to mid-sized company.

Responsibilities

• Image Mac and Windows laptops for new hires and upgrades.
• Document and track recycled inventory using FreshService Asset Management.
• Troubleshoot Windows 10 OS, hardware/software, and peripherals.
• Troubleshoot macOS X 10.14+ OS, hardware/software, and peripherals.
• Configure Active Directory and SaaS accounts for new hires and deletions.
• Support AV equipment in conference rooms and events.
• Resolve support requests by phone, email, or in person.
• Close and update tickets with status information on time.
