AbelsonTaylor Group is seeking an Associate Service Desk Specialist in Chicago to support employee computer issues, including triage, imaging, and troubleshooting. The role covers Windows and macOS environments, AD and SaaS accounts, and AV support.

The position offers a hybrid schedule (onsite Tue-Thu in Chicago) with opportunities for growth and learning across agency software and IT infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Pursuing associate's degree in information systems or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 1 year working in an IT department for a small-medium sized corporation.
• Desired Certifications: CompTIA A+, Microsoft Desktop OS Certifications, macOS Support Essentials Certification.
• Entry Level Knowledge: Active Directory, Office 365, OneDrive, Cisco Webex, Teams, SCCM & JAMF, VPN, iPad/Apple support.

Responsibilities

• Image Mac and Windows laptops for New Hires and upgrade end user deployment.
• Document and track recycled inventory using FreshService Asset Management.
• Troubleshoot issues with Windows 10 OS, hardware/software, and peripherals.
• Troubleshoot issues with macOS X 10.14+ OS, hardware/software, and peripherals.
• Configure Active Directory and SaaS accounts for new hires and account deletions.
• Support AV equipment, including projectors and conference room equipment.
• Resolve support requests by phone, email, or in person.
• Close and update tickets with status information.
• Complete tasks on time and manage workload independently.
• Provide training support for agency software and other IT training.
