Job summary

Sysco Northeast RDC is seeking a Project Specialist to support the execution and governance of key technology initiatives within the Global IT organization. This hybrid role requires on-site presence 3 to 4 days per week, with additional days based on business needs.

You will coordinate cross-functional programs, support executive prioritization, and maintain structured oversight of milestones, risks, and dependencies.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience supporting projects, programs, operations, or leadership teams within a corporate or technology environment.
• Experience preparing professional communications, reports, or presentations for leadership audiences.
• Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience supporting senior leaders within technology, IT, or digital organizations (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate cross-functional initiatives and track milestones, risks, and dependencies.
• Provide operational enablement to senior technology leadership and prioritize commitments.
• Support budgeting and internal controls documentation for tech initiatives.
• Develop executive-ready communications and reporting artifacts for leadership.
• Maintain governance routines with program meetings, action plans, and progress visibility.
• Improve digital workflows with collaboration tools and AI-enabled content where appropriate.
• Maintain structured digital documentation repositories across collaboration platforms.
