Job summary

Sysco is seeking a Project Specialist to support the execution and governance of key technology initiatives within the Global IT organization. You will partner with senior technology leadership to drive alignment, coordination, and visibility across programs, ensuring milestones, deliverables, and communications are effectively managed.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or certification in project management, communications, or business-related field.
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Communications, IT, or related field preferred.
• 2–4 years of experience supporting projects, programs, operations, or leadership teams in a corporate/tech environment.
• Experience preparing professional communications, reports, or presentations for leadership audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead coordination and execution support for cross-functional initiatives and strategic technology programs; track milestones, risks, dependencies, and ensure alignment to enterprise objectives.
• Provide operational enablement support to senior technology leadership, including prioritization management and executive calendar alignment.
• Support financial and operational processes tied to technology initiatives and monitor related documentation.
• Facilitate governance routines by attending program meetings, capturing decisions, and maintaining progress visibility across stakeholders.
• Develop executive-ready communications, briefing materials, and reporting artifacts for leadership messaging.
