Job summary

Sysco is seeking a Cloud Operations Specialist to support day-to-day operation, maintenance, and optimization of cloud infrastructure across AWS, GCP, and Azure. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy secure, scalable solutions and monitor performance, reliability, and incidents.

The role emphasizes automation, cost optimization, and documentation, with a hybrid work model requiring on-site presence 3–4 days per week. A 3–5 year background in cloud operations is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in IT/CS or related field required.
• 3–5 years of cloud operations experience preferred.
• Experience with VMware/Nutanix in data centers is beneficial.
• Ability to manage patches, security, and outages in a corporate environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support for cloud infrastructure across AWS, GCP, and Azure.
• Implement and maintain highly available, secure, scalable cloud solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve operational issues.
• Monitor environments for performance and reliability and respond to incidents.
• Develop automation scripts and participate in change management.
